Creative Writing - Express Yourself

  • Wellington High School Community Eductation Centre 249 Taranaki Street, Mt Cook Wellington New Zealand (map)

Creative writing is a powerful tool for personal growth and is an art form that belongs to all people. Everyone has their own unique writer’s voice, so if you’ve always wanted to explore your creativity through writing, without pressure, join this weekly workshop.

No previous writing experience needed - express yourself! Bring pen and paper and/or your laptop.

By the end of the course, you'll be able to:

• Unlock your hidden creativity
• Explore your writer’s voice
• Experience personal insights
• Develop self-awareness through writing
• Produce text with confidence
• Write on

This course is designed to help you improve your skills, to develop your unique writer's voice and to encourage you to take risks on the page. It is not a course where you'll be asked to read your work out loud, critique other writers' work, or hand in your writing to the tutor. This is a safe place where you will be supported to do what writers do best - write.
